SEWICKLEY, PA., March 7, 2006 -- The H. Howard Flint Pressroom Manager of the Year Award will be conferred on a web offset pressroom manager or supervisor who has excelled in their profession and contributed above and beyond to their company, customers, and the web offset printing industry.
The recipient of this prestigious award will be recognized in a number of ways–through press releases, in ind us try-related publications, and during the WOA annual conference at the Gaylord Palms Resort in Orlando , Florida on Tuesday, May 23. The recipient will receive a commemorative plaque and a conference package. The recipient will also have the opportunity to recognize the graphic arts school of their choice with a $2,000 sponsorship check.
Who will win the award in 2006? Now is the time to nominate an individual for the award. Please enclose a letter briefly introducing the nominee. Include his or her name, title, company, address, phone and fax numbers, as well as your reasons for nominating this individual.
Please note: one letter of nomination is needed, and other individuals may endorse the nomination with another letter with three per company/nomination the limit.
Selection Criteria—the Candidate:
Must have a minimum of 15 years experience in the web offset printing ind us try.
Must be nominated by management, peers, and direct reports.
Demonstrates excellence and dedication to their organization and the ind us try through notable achievements, training and development of self and staff, and ind us try-related participation and involvement.
Demonstrates commitment to his or her company and c us tomers beyond the job description.
Serves as a model in contributing to the community and the industry.
