Kodak Names Leaders for Workflow and Prepress Equipment, and Prepress Consumables Strategic Product Groups

ROCHESTER, N.Y. – July 19 – Eastman Kodak Company’s Graphic Communications Group (GCG) today named key leaders in its Workflow and Prepress Equipment (WPE) and its Prepress Consumables strategic product groups. “With the close of the Creo acquisition, we are rapidly integrating our worldwide organization,” said Jeff Jacobson, President, Graphic Solutions & Services (GS&S) and Chief Operating Officer, GCG. “With these appointments, our customers will benefit from the deep talent and experience of this team, all focused on delivering the services and solutions customers need to improve their businesses.” New appointments include: Boudewijn Neijens – Vice President of Marketing, WPE. Neijens reports to Judi Hess, General Manager and Vice President, WPE. Neijens manages overall marketing strategy and execution, partner relationships and key initiatives. Neijens was previously Corporate Vice President of Global Marketing at Creo Inc. He joined Creo Inc. in 1994 as General Manager of the European subsidiary. Bob Kutschke – General Manager, Business Workflow, WPE. Kutschke leads the Business Workflow team, including products such as SYNAPSE UPFRONT software and new initiatives, reporting to Hess. Kutschke joined Creo Inc. in 2000, where he was most recently Director of BAS Products. Brad Palmer – General Manager, Proofing and Color, WPE. Palmer leads the Proofing and Color business, reporting to Hess. This business includes DOD, VERIS, IRIS, KODAK APPROVAL, Spectrum, Color and OEM products. Palmer was most recently Corporate Vice President, Inkjet Printing at Creo Inc. He joined Creo in 1999 to develop the company's digital offset printing (DOP) business and became Corporate Vice President, On-Press Technologies in May 2001. Rob Pipe – Director, Proofing and Color Marketing, WPE. Pipe reports to Brad Palmer. Pipe drives worldwide marketing for Kodak’s color proofing products to establish Kodak as the market leader in critical color proofing, remote proofing implementations and device-independent color in the graphic arts. Pipe was most recently Worldwide Business Director, Monitor Proofing with Kodak Polychrome Graphics (KPG). He joined KPG in January 2002 as Product Manager for Color Proofing from Imation. Kathy McHugh – Vice President of Marketing, Prepress Consumables. McHugh reports to Doug Edwards, General Manager and Vice President, Prepress Consumables. McHugh drives marketing strategy, leads global marketing and communications initiatives and supports integrated solutions. McHugh joins the Consumables leadership team from KPG, where she was Staff Vice President of Strategy. She joined Kodak in 1984 where she held a variety of sales and marketing positions. Vic Stalam – General Manager, Packaging, Flexo Plates and Thermal Proofing Media, Prepress Consumables. Stalam reports to Edwards. Stalam is responsible for growing sales of hardware, workflow and media products into the packaging market segment, and drives product development and product management for Flexo Plate and Thermal Proofing Media product lines. Stalam joins the Prepress Consumables leadership team from KPG, where he was Vice President, Chief Marketing and Business Development Officer. Stalam joined KPG from VIO North America in 2001, where he was CEO and held sales, marketing and senior executive positions at Kodak from 1980 to 1997. Etienne J. Van Damme – General Manager, Digital Plates, Prepress Consumables. Reporting to Edwards, Van Damme will drive product development and product management plans for Digital Plates. Van Damme comes to Kodak after more than 25 years at Agfa, where he was most recently Senior Vice President, Business Development & Strategic Accounts at Agfa-Gevaert – Graphic Systems Business Group. Van Damme will be based in Norwalk, Conn. and will assume his responsibilities on October 3, 2005. John Cross – General Manager, Film and Conventional Plates, Prepress Consumables. Reporting to Edwards, Cross drives product management plans for Film, Conventional Plates and Processing Systems. Cross joins the Prepress Consumables leadership team from KPG where he was Director, Worldwide Film and Color Proofing Business. Cross joined KPG from Kodak in 1998 as the Worldwide Product Manager, Photo Chemicals and has held various roles in graphics consumables manufacturing, development and marketing over 25 years.
