Kodak Draws Crowds and Spurs Sales at AIIM ON DEMAND 2005

ROCHESTER, N.Y., May 27 – Eastman Kodak Company completed a highly successful AIIM ON DEMAND Conference and Exposition in Philadelphia last week. The more than 21,000 visitors to the AIIM ON DEMAND show saw first-hand the broad range of Kodak’s innovative prepress, digital printing and document imaging solutions, as well as real-world examples of how Kodak helps service providers grow their business and improve profits. Highlights from the show include: •Kodak reached its AIIM ON DEMAND sales goals during day two of the three-day show. The company closed sales on units across its portfolio, including color, black-and-white, digital, offset printing and computer-to-plate imaging systems. •Hundreds of professionals attended Kodak’s in-booth theater presentation, which showcased Kodak’s market-leading technologies, products and services that enhance the way customers work and help customers deliver, relevant, timely communications to their customers. The presentation emphasized Kodak’s business development programs designed to help customers leverage technology to expand their businesses •Kodak Chairman and CEO Daniel A. Carp delivered his keynote speech on industry transformation in graphic communications to standing room only audience. •More than a dozen Kodak experts and customers spoke in conference sessions on topics ranging from JDF, color management and inkjet technology to one-to-one marketing and the future of the printing industry. •Kodak successfully launched three new scanners, the i610, the i55 and i65, bolstering what is already the industry’s broadest portfolio of document imaging products and services. “The industry saw a snapshot of Kodak’s vision at AIIM ON DEMAND – that customers can turn to one company for what they need to improve profits, grow revenue and expand their business to take advantage of new opportunities,” said Kevin Joyce, Managing Director, Sales and Operations, US & Canada for Kodak’s Graphic Communications Group. “With our portfolio and the expertise of our people, we can work with customers to help them become faster, more efficient, more productive and more profitable. Kodak’s business development program was a key draw for attendees. Booth theater presentations focused on how Kodak’s professional consulting services and business development programs help customers optimize processes and build profitable business, as well as the use of new applications among marketers, advertisers and agencies to drive demand for digital services; application software that simplifies use of creative new applications; and global support and services to keep equipment up and running. Kodak’s AIIM ON DEMAND exhibits highlighted both the breadth of its product lines and the depth of its solutions for a wide range of applications, with a focus on technology, tools and expertise to help customers capture, manage, archive, print and deliver business information. The booth exhibits demonstrated real-world applications, from marketing and communications programs using digital printing workflows to common office environments for turning documents into useful information via scanning.
