Bondy, an executive board member of PODi, will represent Kodak's Graphic Communications Group on an Executive Panel of industry leaders on Wednesday, February 9, about today's trends and the future direction of digital print. Bondy will specifically address workflow solutions for digital production printing. He will cover how market convergence is driving the demand for innovative print technology. Additionally, he will address how transactional, internet and promotional marketing are changing the landscape of the commercial printing business and how a continuous process of innovation is necessary to succeed. Bondy has more than 26 years of experience in the graphic arts and digital printing industry with companies such as Kodak, Xerox, and Torrey Pines Research. In addition, he founded a commercial printing business and grew it to the 10th largest commercial printing operation in San Diego County. Pacific Printing and Fulfillment, Inc. (PPFI) and Yoffi Digital Press, Graphic Communications Group customers, will share best practices on their successes in digital printing. Todd Deskins, director of business development at PPFI, will discuss their "quick turn" philosophy, and how the combination of exceptional quality along with streamlined digital output has fostered lasting relationships with their existing customers, including Google. Deskins will highlight the results Google has achieved in supplying their customers with information almost as fast as the information changes. Stefan Agustsson, vice president, technical/production at Yoffi Digital Press, will discuss the impact of implementing variable data direct mail campaigns to grow their clients' businesses, and Yoffi's as well. Agustsson will share the example of Wolverine World Wide and how Yoffi's direct mail marketing services helped launch Wolverine into a new market with customized 1:1 marketing.
