Stora Enso Appoints New Director Environment

HELSINKI, Finland, Dec. 16 -- Stora Enso today announced that James D. Weinbauer has been appointed Senior Vice President, Director Environment as of 1 April 2005. James D. Weinbauer is since 2000 Vice President Environmental Affairs in Stora Enso North America with over 30 years experience as an environmental professional in the paper industry and also active in state and national paper industry trade in the USA. He will have offices both in Stockholm, Sweden and Wisconsin Rapids, USA. James D. Weinbauer succeeds Per G Broman, who will retire from his position in the end of March 2005. He reports to Yngve Stade, Senior Executive Vice President, Corporate Support.
