Press release from the issuing company

ROCHESTER, N.Y.--Nov. 18, 2004-- Barbara A. Pellow, chief marketing officer and vice president of Kodak's Graphic Communications Group, has received the 2004 Naomi Berber Memorial Award, for her many contributions to the printing industry. The Society of Fellows of the Printing Industries of America/Graphic Arts Technical Foundation (PIA/GATF) initiated the Berber Award in 1976 to honor women in the printing industry. It is presented annually to a woman who has made a major contribution to the development of graphic communications. "We'd like to congratulate Barb on this prestigious honor. The Naomi Berber Memorial Award is a testament to Barb's many contributions to the industry throughout her career as an executive and an educator," said James Langley, president, Graphic Communications Group and senior vice president, Eastman Kodak. "Barb is as invaluable to our team at Kodak as she has been to the industry over the years." The engraved gold Berber Award pendant was presented to Pellow at PIA/GATF's Fall Administrative Meetings on Friday, November 12, 2004, in Atlanta, Georgia. "I have watched Barbara throughout the years and her knowledge of trends and customer service are so influential, that she has made a major impact on both the size and shape of the industry," said Presstek's president and CEO, Edward Marino, who nominated Pellow for the award. Pellow is a digital printing and publishing pioneer, with more than 25 years of experience in the graphic communications industry. At Kodak, Pellow is responsible for all marketing activities for Kodak's Graphic Communications Group, including marketing communications, public relations, marketing intelligence and advertising strategy. She is an active participant in developing business strategy and helping define the group's go-to-market organizational structure. Pellow also is responsible for coordinating marketing efforts between the Kodak companies that comprise the Graphic Communications Group. Prior to joining Kodak, Pellow was the Gannett chair in integrated publishing sciences in Rochester Institute of Technology's (RIT) School of Printing Management and Sciences (SPMS).
