PrinterPresence Set to Incorporate Adobe PDF JobReady

Press release from the issuing company

July 21, 2004 -- PrinterPresence recently entered into an agreement with Datalogics to integrate Adobe PDF JobReady, previously branded Adobe PDF Transit, into the PrinterPresence Web site solution. The Adobe PDF JobReady integration, currently in development, is expected to be released later this year. Adobe PDF JobReady allows print buyers the ability to seamlessly create reliable, "print-ready" Adobe PDF files and send them to their print provider through their PrinterPresence Web site solution. "Over half of the documents print providers receive have errors. Incorporating Adobe PDF JobReady into the PrinterPresence solution will give our clients a tremendous advantage in the marketplace and increase their workflow efficiencies," said Tawnya Starr, PrinterPresence President. Adobe PDF JobReady alleviates the common problems occurring in the file submission process. In addition to creating the Adobe PDF document, this solution will allow creative professionals to proof their work before sending it to the print provider. The Adobe PDF JobReady integration will occur as part of the regular upgrades to the PrinterPresence Web site solution and will be immediately available as an additional service to current clients.
