NexPress Teams With Saepio on Web-To-Print Software Solution

Press release from the issuing company

ROCHESTER, N.Y. –– NexPress Solutions LLC is collaborating with Saepio Technologies, Inc. to further help users of the NexPress 2100 digital production color press tap into the growing market of Web-to-print fulfillment. NexPress and Saepio, a leading developer of Web-based print media tools, have signed an agreement to add Saepio’s Agilis Media Producer to the NexPress solutions portfolio. Agilis Media Producer is a marketing tool for creating customized, print-ready marketing materials for manufacturers, retailers and franchises through the online versioning of template-based documents. Once a template is created, local sales and marketing staff, dealers and distributors have the ability to customize, version, proof and order their print communications using the Internet. Businesses benefit from fast and cost-effective marketing materials, such as sales-driven customized self-mailers, event invitations and announcements, and dealer-branded and customized collateral. These materials can be tailored by division or location, while maintaining a consistent brand identity. "One of the fastest growing segments in digital color printing is Web-to-print fulfillment," said Chris Payne, chief marketing officer and vice president, NexPress Solutions LLC. "And one of the most important aspects of this segment is creating localized versions of templates for individual markets. Saepio has had great success doing this with its Agilis Media Producer in the corporate segment, and we have been working with Saepio and NexPress 2100 press users over the past year to ensure that this solution meets the needs of the commercial print market." Saepio’s Agilis solution runs on an enterprise-class Sun/Solaris or Linux system, and interacts with both the Agilis Toolkit –– software for template creation and user management of images, layouts and data –– and the Agilis Compiler end-user interface. The Agilis solution is available as a server license or a hosted service (ASP service). The NexPress 2100 Press The NexPress 2100 press, which recently won the prestigious 2003 BERTL's Best award and the GATF 2002 InterTech technology award, is the graphic arts industry’s first true digital production color press –– producing outstanding image quality and consistency with every piece.
