VALHALLA, N.Y., July 2, 2003 – Enovation Graphic Systems, Inc. today announced the acquisition of London Litho Aluminum Co., Inc., a major Midwest distributor to the graphic arts industry. Headquartered in Lincolnwood, Ill., London Litho also has branches in New Berlin and Neenah, Wis., Fort Wayne and Indianapolis, Ind., Grand Rapids and Detroit, Mich., and New Brighton, Minn.
“This important acquisition reinforces our continuing commitment to the U.S. graphic arts marketplace,” said Atsushi “Steve” Yoneda, Chairman and CEO of Enovation Graphic Systems, Inc. “Fujifilm made the original investment to form Enovation as a nationwide distribution company with the vision and resources to meet virtually every need of customers in the graphic communications market. Fujifilm’s other investments related to its commitment to the U.S. graphic arts business include Fujifilm Electronic Imaging, numerous manufacturing plants in Greenwood, South Carolina and Fuji Hunt’s acquisition of Anchor Chemical. Through Enovation, we extended that commitment to bringing long-needed financial stability and increased efficiency to the distribution channel. Our goal is to make certain our customers receive the ‘best in class’ products that meet their needs from a wide range of premier manufacturers and outstanding service supporting those products.”
“London Litho’s strong reputation for servicing their customers and providing excellent value-added support compliments and reflects Enovation Graphic Systems mission for the graphic arts marketplace,” adds Tim Combs, Enovation’s Senior Vice President for Sales and Marketing. “This additional investment is a significant step forward in serving both our customers and suppliers in a more efficient manner while removing redundancies in the supply chain.”
“We have fulfilled the role as the Midwest’s leading reseller and integrator for the graphic arts industry for almost five decades,” said London Litho President Eric London, “and our commitment has always been to efficiently supply our customers with the best products available and to enhance those products by providing the ‘London Advantage.’ Now, as our industry enters a new era, London Litho will become part of the one company that has the vision and financial strength to face and successfully meet the challenges brought about by channel conflict, technology changes, market conditions and economic pressures.”
