R.R. Donnelley Logistics Earns Exclusive Contract From Target
Press release from the issuing company
Willowbrook, Ill. February 3, 2003 - R.R. Donnelley Logistics has earned an exclusive national contract from Target Corporation to manage the distribution of the company's retail inserts for all of their Target, Mervyn's and Marshall Field's stores. While Target Corporation uses multiple printers to produce their retail inserts, Donnelley Logistics handles all of the distribution.
The success of retail inserts is highly dependent on meeting precise newspaper insert dates, which requires constant monitoring of the insert from pre-production through final delivery. R.R. Donnelley Logistics, which distributes approximately 8 billion retail inserts annually, makes it easy for retailers to manage complex national distribution programs.
"Our experience with retail insert distribution allows us to serve as a strategic partner to Target Corporation," said Matthew Bernstein, President of Print Services for R.R. Donnelley Logistics. "Earning Target Corporation's retail insert distribution business reinforces our belief that if you provide your customers with services that are reliable, economical and easy to use, you will earn their business and their trust."
