Spice Up Your Business: PINC Sets Print Buyers Conference
Press release from the issuing company
San Francisco, December 4, 2002 -- “Spice Up Your Business” is the buoyant theme for the annual Print Buyers’ Conference sponsored by Printing Industries of Northern California. In 2003, the event is scheduled for Tuesday, February 4, at the Hyatt Regency San Francisco, 5 Embarcadero Center.
Colloquially known as Mardi Gras Madness, the San Francisco Conference has grown significantly over the past two years with more than 1,000 attending last year. The aura of the Big Easy lends a festive touch to what is actually a day packed full of educational opportunities for participants followed by tabletop exhibits featuring paper companies, printers, ink companies, and other graphic arts vendors like Creo, Kodak, and Canon.
The six 2003 seminars are listed below. Richard Gorelick is back by popular demand to tackle the tough issues in printer/buyer interactions. Lon Lorenz from Adobe Systems and Lorraine Donegan, a professor at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, will explore three of the hottest topics in graphic arts production today.
12:45 p.m.-2 p.m.
-What You Should Expect from Your Printer Partners - Richard Gorelick
