PASADENA, Calif. & KANSAS CITY, Kansas---Dec. 3, 2002-- Bluebeam Software, a recognized expert in creating PDF solutions for the CAD industry, and the US Reprographics Network, the world's largest reprographic network, today announced that the two companies have formed a strategic alliance to distribute Bluebeam Pushbutton PDF through members of the US Reprographics Network.
Under this agreement, the US Reprographics Network will promote, train and license Bluebeam Pushbutton PDF through their 250-member network in the U.S. In addition, Bluebeam Pushbutton PDF will be distributed through an additional 150 members in Europe through US Reprographics' agreement with GlobalgrafixNet. This agreement allows Bluebeam Software to expand its reach to the large and mid-size companies within the AEC community.
"US Reprographics is at the cutting edge of digital drawing and printing solutions, which makes this alliance very powerful," said Richard Lee, President and CEO of Bluebeam Software. "By partnering with US Reprographics, Bluebeam can now bring the best PDF drawing solutions to market."
"We researched many different AutoCAD to PDF solutions and found Bluebeam Pushbutton PDF to be, by far, the best solution to offer our members," said Kevin Rowe, President and CEO of US Reprographics.
Bluebeam Pushbutton PDF is a powerful software tool designed to provide high quality, scalable PDF drawings from AutoCAD with the push of one button. This tool is designed for engineers and architects who furnish CAD drawings to clients, subcontractors and/or governmental regulating agencies. Pushbutton PDF facilitates efficient collaboration between the customer and the reprographer by enabling the customer to create and send printer-ready PDF files to their reprographer. The reprographer can print the PDF and provide the customer with an exact print out of their drawing. Pushbutton PDF saves the customer and the reprographer time and money by streamlining communication and eliminating inefficiencies in the printing process.
