R.R. Donnelley Wins Contract with Pages Jaunes, 16 billion pages

CHICAGO, November 21, 2002 - R.R. Donnelley has earned a three-year contract with Pages Jaunes, a subsidiary of France Telecom's Wanadoo through 2005. Under the agreement, R.R. Donnelley will produce approximately 40 telephone directory titles annually with print runs between 100,000 and 500,000 copies that will be distributed throughout France. This work represents more than 20 percent of Pages Jaunes' directory business. Pages Jaunes, the directory-publishing arm of Wanadoo, publishes and distributes 164 different directories editions chosen by more than 540,000 advertisers for a total revenue of €751.7 millions of euros ($758.3 million U.S. dollars) in 2001. It has directory publishing operations around the world.
