NEW YORK--Feb. 19, 2002--Cahners Business Information today announced it is changing its name to Reed Business Information (RBI), effective immediately.
Reed Business Information now incorporates Cahners Business Information (U.S.), Elsevier Business Information (Netherlands,France, Germany, Spain and Italy), and Reed Business Information (U.K., Asia and Australia), which together with Reed Exhibitions (Worldwide) form Reed Business.
The rebranding from Cahners to Reed Business Information presents new global growth opportunities to all levels of the organization, and enables the company to emerge as a more distinguished market leader across all business divisions. Accompanying the name change, Reed Business Information will unveil a new corporate identity that will more closely align it with Reed Elsevier.
