Finch Uncoated Digital Papers Now Made with 10% Post-Consumer Recycled Fiber
Press release from the issuing company
Glens Falls, NY -- September 23, 2008 -- Finch Paper, LLC has upgraded its digital uncoated paper portfolio with the announcement that three of its products - Finch Fine iD, Finch Fine Digital, and Finch Color Copier -- are now made with 10% post-consumer recycled fiber. These papers are also certified to the standards of the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) and Sustainable Forestry Initiative (SFI), making them one of the best choices for sustainable print buying.
The digital printing process is known to deliver environmental benefits such as reductions in waste and chemistry. FSC-certified Finch uncoated digital papers are a natural fit for digital print customers; and now offer even more advantage with the option to use papers made with 10% post-consumer fiber. Finch Paper uses an average of over three million pounds of post-consumer recycled fiber every year.
"These papers achieve a balance of quality and environmental responsibility that Finch is known for," says Tony McDowell, VP of Sales and Marketing. "The credit goes to our product development team, which listened to our customers and took action on requests for post-consumer recycled content."
