A new milestone in proof of responsible, sustainable manufacturing has been achieved by Contex. Important for customers worldwide.

ALLEROED, DENMARK – Contex’ parent company, Global Scanning, has successfully passed the Responsible Business Alliance (RBA) audit and earned the certification. This affirms the company’s commitment to ethical, sustainable, and compliant manufacturing.

Among other brands, Global Scanning designs and manufactures all Contex scanners.

The RBA is the world’s largest industry coalition dedicated to responsible global supply chains. Certification is awarded only to companies meeting rigorous standards across social responsibility, environmental protection, and business ethics.

“This achievement reflects the strong management systems, operational discipline, and values that guide our work every day,” says Stiven Shi, General Manager at Global Scanning’s Suzhou, China facility and continues: “It’s a clear signal to our customers that their products and services come from a compliant, sustainable and responsible supply chain partner.”

Why it matters

RBA certification is not just a plaque on the wall. It demonstrates measurable compliance with international standards - essential in many industries, and in some cases a prerequisite for public tenders.

It’s about ensuring fair treatment of workers, reducing environmental impact, and enforcing strict ethical practices in operations.

A step forward for Contex and Global Scanning

For Contex, it means that every scanner is built in a way that protects people, respects the environment, and upholds transparent business conduct.

Global Scanning’s achievement places it among the select manufacturing sites worldwide that have undergone, and passed, RBA’s demanding third-party audits.
