Dayton, Ohio, September 18, 2008 - WorkflowOne, one of the nation's leading providers of managed print and promotional product services, announced today that Kodak has awarded the company the prestigious Kodak Certified Supplier Status and granted WorkflowOne a three-year contract to be its preferred supplier of promotional marketing solutions. The Kodak Certified Status gives WorkflowOne the right to design and produce Kodak-branded promotional products for the company's trade shows, customer marketing efforts and events it co-sponsors with NASCAR, the PGA Tour and others. WorkflowOne was selected for its best-in-class product and service levels, creative product and campaign design, lead-time performance and quality management as well as its unique dual network that combines both outsourced services and its own manufacturing platforms.
"WorkflowOne isn't just a supplier to Kodak, they're a partner," said Jeffrey Hayzlett, Chief Business Development Officer and Vice President, Eastman Kodak Company. "They bring as many ideas to us as we think of ourselves, always stepping forward with Kodak in mind and Kodak first. Everything WorkflowOne offers is best-in-class, so we always know things are done right and done the Kodak way."
Kodak first sought WorkflowOne's promotional product expertise in 2007 to redesign and restock two of its company store locations in time for the holiday season. The result was "First Impressions," two separate and hybrid retail operations where employees and visitors can purchase Kodak-branded merchandise onsite, as well as place larger orders through computer kiosks with e-commerce-enabled storefronts developed by WorkflowOne. The stores have now become valuable assets to Kodak employees who use it to purchase individual gifts and giveaway items for the numerous events that Kodak participates in annually.
Kodak will take advantage of WorkflowOne's unique dual network, which combines world-class outsourcing and internal fulfillment capabilities with managed services expertise, all supported by the company's proprietary technology. The result is a "best-fit solution" for Kodak that generates substantial savings that go straight to the company's bottom line.
"It's an honor to be entrusted to help manage a brand that's a global icon," said Scott Berry, Chief Sales and Marketing Officer of WorkflowOne. "By aggregating Kodak's promotional marketing spend and providing advice from design to delivery, we're able to generate new efficiencies and create substantial savings that will benefit Kodak as they redefine and enhance their brand that is known in virtually every country around the world."
