Highcon, the Israeli digital die cutting and creasing company, has filed for bankruptcy protection today. According to Highcon board member Alon Bar-Shany “Company approached court for protection and time to restructure debt. Leaving 20 employees to ensure service and supplies for customers, while others made redundant.”

When asked what will happen to the R&D and future of their drupa previewed ‘Vulcan’ high productivity corrugated die cutting solutions, Bar-Shany said “First priority is to provide existing customers with service and supplies. Under court protection we will try to define path forward for the vast IP and potential sales given dozens of satisfied customers using the Highcon solution”.
