Pavlo Mashkov fills open role in RRD’s Canadian operations creating a win-win for all parties

Toronto, ON – Strategic consulting firm, Connecting for Results (CFR) and leading global provider of marketing, packaging, print, and supply chain solutions, RR Donnelley (RRD) are pleased to announce the placement of Ukrainian newcomer, Pavlo Mashkov. Mashkov fled Ukraine with his family for a better life in Canada and was seeking employment in the printing industry. He recently accepted a full-time Digital Print Operator position at RRD.

The CFR recruitment team including Heather Black, Bob Dale, and Gordon Griffiths, helped to connect Mashkov with employers and work opportunities, pro bono. The collaboration with RRD and placement of Mashkov represents a success for all three parties.

In his role, Mashkov is responsible for the operation and maintenance of one of the high-speed continuous inkjet printers, associated file management, and overall product quality. Mashkov brings a new perspective and wealth of experience to the team.

Mashkov started his career in a family print business in the Ukraine and has experience in all areas of the printing process. He is an award-winning graphic designer and was the head of a design and prepress department for over a decade. He helped to design the security technology for Ukraine’s passport.
