Wise Opens Anderson, SC Plant to Accommodate Growth

Press release from the issuing company

The new Southeast location offers 36,000 square feet of production and warehouse space. The expansion was necessary to accommodate the company’s explosive growth in the tag and label market.

“Since our entry into this business in 2017, we have been on a steady growth trajectory,” observes Bob Saunders, vice president of sales for Wise. “Industrial labels and tags have become our fastest growing area of the business.”

This outstanding growth is credited to Wise’s excellent reputation in the reseller market. Saunders notes that for decades, the company has had a large, satisfied distributor customer base in the custom forms business. “Once our customers learned that they were able to consolidate all of their forms and label production with us, our business exploded,” he says. “We quickly outgrew our original space.”

The new plant offers up to 10-color production and full finishing capabilities with room to grow. It is strategically located along I-85, the main thoroughfare for the Southeastern United States. This places the location close to major materials suppliers and offers customers in the region a 1-2-day delivery via UPS ground.

The plant supports 20 employees, some with more than 30 years’ experience in the label industry.

In addition to the Anderson, SC plant, Wise operates four other production locations. These include Alpharetta, GA; Ft. Wayne, IN; Portland, ME; and Butler, PA.
