The Graphic Communications Leadership Institute (GCLI) held their December 2022 workshop at host company Think Patented, a rapidly growing, full-service company in Dayton, Ohio. Think Patented is a privately held business providing all aspects of client services with a special focus on marketing planning and execution.

GCLI members toured Think Patented’s recently expanded 122,000 square foot facility which includes mailing and fulfillment, product design, campaign planning and various print technologies including offset and digital capabilities. Holders of a number of industry certifications, Think Patented has been certified by the X-rite corporation as a Pantone® certified printer, one of only six such companies world-wide to achieve this designation.

GCLI members were treated to presentations from Think Patented executives including company President Dave McNerney, who highlighted their many client-facing technology applications.

In welcoming the group, Think Patented Chairman & Owner Niels Winther commended the founders and faculty of GCLI and noted that the Institute is doing important work in developing the next generation of industry leaders. “The industry needs programs like GCLI” said Winther. “We’re delighted to participate”.

Afternoon workshops topics included strategy and planning and practical methods for integrating people and technology to the benefit of clients and of all company stakeholders.

The next GCLI quarterly workshop is scheduled for March 15- 16, 2023 in Chicago, Illinois.
