Beta Fluo - Invisible UV Ink Densitometers & Colorimeters (Unique New Product)

Press release from the issuing company

Measure and Control the Invisible

Beta Industries sells and supports handheld BETA FLUO UV Invisible Ink Densitometers & Colorimeters, to measure fluorescence and phosphorescence and make invisible ink quality visible and measureable to bring the advantages of process control and productivity to your invisible UV ink printing and marking activities.

Anti-counterfeiting strength is enhanced when the exact COLOR of the fluorescence is controlled in addition to the intensity.

Models:

a. The BETA FLUO BASIC (fluorescence), equipped with a 365nm UV source brings the benefits of an easy-to-use instrument to the production floor, QC lab, and for on-site verification.

b. The BETA FLUO ADVANCED (fluorescence and phosphorescence), equipped with both 254nm and 365nm UV LED sources, measures a wide gamut with its high speed visual color detector, and powerful computing and memory system, providing highly detailed and thorough analysis of fluorescent intensity, bi-fluorescence, fluorescent and phosphorescent colorimetry, charge/discharge timing characteristics and much more.

Two control modes are available with the FLUO:

1. INTENSITY Control measures the overall intensity of the fluorescence & phosphorescence
2. COLOR Control measures the visual color effect of fluorescence & phosphorescence

Multiple REFERENCE values may be measured from the OK sheet and stored in the internal memory or uploaded from the Windows software. Due to the variability of various printing methods, automatic averaging of up to 20 measurements is allowed for each sample.

Colorimetric data may be displayed as XYZ tristimulus values, Lch, Lab, radar targets, and more.
