Solopress is excited to announce the appointment of Phil Foster to the role of Head of Business Development, reporting directly to MD Simon Cooper.

Phil started his career in the print industry over 35 years ago as a plate maker in pre-press, before making the move into sales.

Since then Phil has held a variety of roles, building a formidable reputation within the industry. Following a stint running his own litho printing business, Phil cemented his position as a recognised figure in the print world during a successful seven-year spell as Senior Sales Executive at Saxoprint.

Phil’s role at Solopress will span both onboarding new business and maintaining key relationships. In addition to identifying businesses that could benefit from working with Solopress, he’ll also work with those businesses to make sure they get the most out of the relationship.

Phil’s appointment is part of an ongoing program of recruitment and investment by the Essex-based printer that will see them expand their payroll, plant list and square footage yet further within the year.
