Dscoop Partners with Consortium for Waste Circularity

Press release from the issuing company

Key Largo, FL - The Consortium For Waste Circularity (CWC), the printing and packaging industry authority on circularity of all waste, announce today that Dscoop joined the CWC community as a Resource Partner.

Dscoop is pleased to be leading the digital print industry to a carbon neutral future through the Dscoop Sustainability Framework. Partnering with CWC for End of life solutions for the industry to eliminate landfills which account for nearly 17% of the anthropogenic methane emissions of the U.S. is a significant step forward.

CWC is aligning the printing and packaging industry toward a path of full circularity where all waste is converted to a valued end product of methanol. Since this is derived from waste it is recycled material called, eco-methanol™ that can be used for the production of plastic that would have endless circularity.

“The engagement of CWC and Dscoop is a natural fit that will connect industry with an end of life sustainability solution that is desperately needed” said Michael Ferrari, President, CWC.

“Partnering with CWC to promote gasification as a preferred solution for the full circularity materials was an obvious best in class solution for both our sponsoring partners as well as our PSP members” said Rick Bellamy, Executive Chair Dscoop.
