The Graphic Communications Leadership Institute (GCLI) held their June 2022 workshop at host company Vivid Impact, an industry leader based in Louisville, Kentucky. Vivid is a privately held, fast growing company committed to providing a customer-centric approach, developing best-in-class solutions and project methodology to exceed clients' expectations. The Graphic Communications Leadership Institute (GCLI), a comprehensive three-year program for rising industry professionals, consists of four quarterly workshops, each one focusing on core elements of business management and organizational leadership. The group meets at various locations including leading industry manufacturers/suppliers and at some of the industry’s finest service providers.

GCLI members toured the Vivid facilities (design, print and fulfillment centers) and were treated to presentations from Vivid executives on their processes, and their approach to customer success. Afternoon workshop topics focused on individual leadership styles and development.

The GCLI was founded by Mike Philie (The Philie Group) and Joe Truncale (Alexander Joseph & Associates) and successfully launched last year. The Institute continues to grow in size and impact as forward-looking organizations address the challenge of retaining talent by investing in the leadership development of their key people.

GCLI is a rigorous, cutting-edge leadership development program specifically designed to prepare the next generation of business leaders with a well-rounded foundation in leadership and managerial expertise while developing a valuable peer network.

The next two quarterly workshops will be held at host printing facilities; Nosco, a Wisconsin based digital printing leader specializing in healthcare packaging (September 28-29) and Think Patented, a comprehensive marketing services provider based in Dayton, Ohio.

GCLI admissions are on a rolling basis, allowing participants to enroll in time for the next session.
