INX HFB Digital Inks to Get the Star Treatment at Alliance Franchise Brands 2022 Convention

Press release from the issuing company

Schaumburg, IL – Signs By Tomorrow franchise owners who may not be familiar with TRIANGLE® brand HFB UV Curable digital inks from INX International Ink Co. have good reason to at the Alliance Franchise Brands Convention, to be held May 18-21 at the Minneapolis Convention Center. More outdoor signs makers than ever are switching to HFB to take advantage of its outstanding performance, cost savings and other benefits.

Evan Lyons, Western Regional Sales Manager for INX, says surging interest in HFB alternative inks start with it being a flexible, fast curing and high chemical resistance UV curable ink. There are other significant advantages to alternative inks, including cost effectiveness and improved color quality.

“It is extremely reliable while reducing chipping and peeling, and it outperforms OEM inks by a wide margin in many comparable categories. HFB’s major benefit for the majority of sign makers is the amount of money it saves. Compared to OEM inks, the average cost savings is 36%. That’s in addition to a 15% reduction in ink usage,” he noted, pointing out that it also provides immediate savings to those with HP Scitex industrial printers since it is optimized for the FB500, FB550, FB700, FB750, FB900 and FB950 series models.

Lyons indicated that more than 75 independent and franchise owners have converted to HFB since it was introduced to the market four years ago. He said those sign makers have reported experiencing excellent adhesion on a wide range of digital graphic medias.

Formulated to achieve GRACoL standards and G7 targets, HFB’s flexibility limits chipping when used with three common types of outdoor signage – rigid Coroplast, Dibond and Sintra – that is trimmed with industrial cutters. It is also a sustainable option as the eco-friendly, bag-in-box packaging limits waste. But the true test is the side-by-side comparison Lyons shares with sign makers that catches their attention.

“When you compare HFB to an OEM product such as HP’s 250 ink, you’ll see how much cleaner it runs. The wider color gamut with high Magenta and Yellow density levels really stand out as well. You can expect consistent repeatability with no sacrifice in quality, and the higher gloss factor provides more ‘pop’ than a matte OEM. Canned color profiles are available for a range of HP printer DPI settings that are internal to the printer, especially for flexible and rigid substrates.”

Lyons will be at the convention and available to discuss and answer questions about HFB. If you are not attending the event but would like more information, call him at 1-800-631-7956.
