American Print Consultants Launches Color Management Services Division

Press release from the issuing company

Chambersburg, PA – American Print Consultants (APC), a leading distributor of wide-format printers, supplies, and service, is proud to announce the launch of its Color Management Services Department. Color management has long been held by the owners of APC as a necessary step in achieving optimal output and getting the most out of equipment.

APC’s newest addition, Tony Rojas, will be heading up the Color Management Services Department. Tony has over 30 years of industry experience and has worked at and consulted for companies with critical color needs such as Duggal Visual Solutions, Coloredge Graphics and Sandy Alexander, to name a few. He is well known in both the US and internationally, especially for his expertise with color management for fabric applications. He comes to APC armed with accreditations and certifications most important to the color management process.

“We’ve known and worked closely with Tony for a long time, contracting him on projects that required very exacting color,” stated Dave Mee, Partner at APC. “Watching Tony work, you immediately notice how analytical he is in his approach to collecting data and building profiles. Even more than that, though is his outright enthusiasm for everything he does - I don’t think I’ve met a person more excited about color and printing than Tony!”

“We’d been courting Tony to work exclusively for us for several years now,” said Rob Almstrom, Partner at APC. “Finally, everything just aligned, and we’re thrilled to have him as an official Team member. Tony’s work ethic, technical skills, and passion fit APC’s service-forward team perfectly”.

The APC Color Management Services Department has made additions to product-line offerings for color control, including Barbieri Electronic, Caldera RIP, and Inèdit Software. In addition, APC carries Onyx Graphics, Ergosoft, SAi, and X-Rite, providing APC customers with multiple solutions for production and color management.

“I have had a long relationship with Barbieri, and the quality of their equipment is unrivaled,” said Tony Rojas. “For many of my clients, Barbieri is the only spectro solution they will use, so I’m excited that we were able to bring them on as a direct distributor. I have also supported Caldera RIP for many of my grand-format clients, so I’m thrilled to represent this great product directly. Inèdit’s NeoStampa RIP, is used in the apparel and textile manufacturing industries and is new to me but now, having had an opportunity to play with their unique color tools and profiling engine, I’m excited to support and promote this too”.
