Rebrand marks the latest milestone in association’s 75-year history
CHICAGO – The Print Services & Distribution Association (PSDA) recently announced our rebrand to Brand Chain, after months of extensive research, and member feedback and voting.
Brand Chain is the essential community for the brand solutions supply chain. We serve the distributors who recommend, source and execute brand solutions for their clients and the suppliers who partner with them to deliver at the highest level. Brand Chain provides the supply-chain relationships, education, resources and tools to fuel the growth and enable the long-term success of our member companies.
The rebrand represents the evolution of the changes Brand Chain members, and our association, have been making for years. Seventy-five years ago we started out as a business forms association, eventually expanding and broadening our focus to print services. At the same time, our members began offering services that include promotional products, branded apparel, technology platforms, labels, packaging and digital marketing, in addition to print – services that we have coined “brand solutions.”
“Our members have evolved, and we chose to grow with them,” said Matt Bruno, executive vice president of Brand Chain. “We chose the name Brand Chain because it represents who we are – a community of brand solutions distributors and suppliers working together to deliver the best possible result for end users.”
This rebrand also reflects Brand Chain’s focus on welcoming new companies to our vibrant member community. Distributor members can expect more resources, programs and events focused on the wide array of brand solutions, and supplier members can expect more and new distributors to find value in – and join – our community.
“We will remain a community of distributors and suppliers. We all benefit from partnering with and learning from one another,” said Andrew Alford, Brand Chain president and president and CEO of Launchpad Intelligent Software, a software company that provides the ERP, ecommerce, CRM, web-to-print, and omnichannel marketing solution Liftoff. “During our focus groups, our members made it clear that what they value the most from this association is the networking and business support they receive as members. The quality of conversations they have with their fellow members is second to none. We will always ensure that remains at the heart of what we do.”
Brand Chain will soon be announcing a redesigned experience for our annual conference, to be held in fall 2022, which will focus on uniting, engaging and educating all members of the brand solutions supply chain.
