Midland Paper Promotes David Field

Named Managing Director – Midland Specialty Paper & Film Division

Wheeling, Ill. – Midland Paper, Packaging and Supplies, one of North America's largest independent distributors of media for business communications, is excited to announce the promotion of David Field to the position of Managing Director – Specialty Paper & Film Division, effective February 1, 2021.

Field will focus his efforts on continuing to build on Midland’s leading position as the industry’s premier distributor of Digital Sheetfed Papers, High Speed Inkjet Papers, Non-Paper Substrates and Grand Format Media. “We are confident that David has the background and the skills needed to help Midland continue its momentum as a leader in the sale and distribution of Specialty Print Media in North America”, said Mike Ratcliff, Midland’s President, Specialty Paper and Film Division. “Paper is in David’s DNA having spent 30 years in paper and specialty print media going back to his days at his family’s Russell-Field Paper Company business.”

Field possesses a B.S. Degree in Advertising & Marketing from Southern Illinois University in Carbondale, IL. Prior to joining Midland, David worked in various capacities at Ariva, Canon and Sappi Fine Papers.
