You may remember my post about DSCOOP in San Diego. At that event, HP announced "Capture On the Road", a program to take the tools and training of HP's Capture Business Development program to different areas of the country.

The first event was held in Palo Alto on March 20th, and the final stop will be in Chicago on June 19th at the Marriott Suites in Downers Grove. The Philadelphia event was at The Desmond in Malvern, PA. I was able to sit in on some sessions and also interview some of the HP folks and printers to get an idea of how the Capture Program was helping them in their business.

There were several sessions with the entire group as well as breakouts. The focus was on how to leverage the program for maximum benefit. Topics included how to sell the value of digital printing, identify opportunities in digital, and how to use consultative sales techniques to leverage the full power of HP Indigo digital printing.
