The visit to Melbourne Australia was highlighted by crowds at the dock welcoming us like a troop ship returning home. The customs inspector asked me if I had a criminal record -- I did not know you still needed one to go there. We left that night to a wonderful fireworks display.

My hosts were the team from Fuji Xerox and 70 people showed up for a lunch meeting at a restaurant that looked out over the ship. I met some old acquaintances who have attended my sessions in the US over the years. One company prints Australian stamps and currency. Early that morning I had walked up Bay Street and found Advantage Printing and wandered in. They were just opening but were very hospitable. I took a photo of their Xerox 5000, HP wide format inkjet, and other equipment. Then at the lunch session I met the owner who said that he was told that some stranger had come in.

Frank Romano has spent over 60 years in the printing and publishing industries. Many know him best as the editor of the International Paper Pocket Pal or from the hundreds of articles he has written for publications from North America and Europe to the Middle East to Asia and Australia. Romano lectures extensively, having addressed virtually every club, association, group, and professional organization at one time or another. He is one of the industry's foremost keynote speakers.
