Where’s the Fire: Signarama Centers Win Franchise Awards

Earlier this year, the Signarama franchise held its SARCON conference and annual awards program. Meet three of this year’s award winners.

Earlier this year at the company’s SARCON conference, colocated with the ISA Sign Expo, the Signarama franchise held its annual awards program, recognizing centers across the franchise in more than 20 categories, including Vehicle Graphics; Electronic, Neon & Illuminated Signage; Community Involvement, and others. I spoke with the winner of Best in Show (Signarama Brighton, Colo.), the President’s Award (Signarama of Ankeny, Iowa), and the Rookie of the Year (Signarama of Timonium, Md.).

The Best in Show award was won by Signarama Brighton, Colo., for their rebrand of the Frederick Firestone Station 5, a project that included illuminated channel letters, custom ADA signage, dimensional exterior letters, bay signs, etched vinyl, interior dimensional signs, and two large-scale wall murals.

“One of our vertical markets is fire stations and fire departments, so we worked with GTC—Golden Triangle Contractors,” said owner Dawn Homa. “We were actually referred to them through the fire chief.”
