Fujifilm Goes Big

After previewing it at PRINTING United in 2023, Fujifilm has officially launched the Revoria Press GC12500, the first dry toner B2 press. European section editor Ralf Schlözer provides the details.

After previewing it at PRINTING United in 2023, Fujifilm has officially launched the Revoria Press GC12500, the first dry toner B2 press. Color toner printing is a well-established technology, with thousands of production devices sold every year. Still, sizes were confined to SRA3 format and the occasional banner print option. Although HP Indigo has been shipping B2 presses (using liquid EP) since 2013 and Xeikon has been offering B2 format print on webfed printers since 1998, the technology hurdles have been high for a sheetfed dry toner device. It seems that Fujifilm now overcome them.
