Sterling, VA — The Board of Directors of the National Print and Sign Owners Association (NPSOA) is pleased to announce the establishment of a special student membership category.

“Attracting the next generation of leaders for our industry is a high priority for NPSOA, and this initiative will complement the NPSOA Scholarship Fund, which is currently in its third year,” says Nathaniel Grant, Chairman of the Board. Creating a Student Membership category will allow NPSOA to:

• Build relationships with future industry leaders at an early stage

• Increase awareness of career opportunities in print and signage, and

• Support succession planning efforts for member companies

Student Membership Structure

Student Membership will be open to individuals currently enrolled in:

• College or university programs

• Technical or trade schools

• High school graphic communications or vocational programs

• Design, marketing, signage, printing, packaging, or related disciplines

• Business and computer science disciplines

Student Members will receive a myriad of NPSOA benefits, including:

• Access to a special educational Listserve where students can communicate with contemporaries and members of the NPSOA Board

• Live and archived educational webinars

• Mailed copies of the NPSOA Magazine

• Access to select Think Tank sessions

• Discounted or member-sponsored rates for students to attend the annual conference

• Scholarship program awareness and eligibility updates.

Student Members will have no voting rights.

There will be no cost for an accredited student to join NPSOA in this new membership category. “Establishing a Student Membership category represents a proactive investment in the future of our industry and our Association. It will strengthen NPSOA’s visibility among emerging professionals while helping create a pathway from education to industry engagement and, ultimately, long-term membership participation,” added Grant.
