Servador to Acquire Webprint Development Team & Technology

Press release from the issuing company

April 22, 2002 -- (WhatTheyThink.com) -- Servador, a New York based enterprise software and procurement service provider, has acquired Webprint’s technology and has retained its core software development team. Webprint creates Internet printing technology and solutions that help companies manage print jobs using the web and Adobe’s PDF and Internet Printing technologies. Sources say the acquisition will strengthen and extend Servador’s total offering to their customers, while providing Servador with a clear competitive advantage in the print procurement and Internet printing marketplace. With the acquisition of 58k last summer, Servador added public and private auction technology to their portfolio, and has realized double digit growth in its business since that time. Servador plans to further “web-enable the entire print process” with Webprint’s technology - helping them better serve customers who have both on-demand and full scale commercial printing needs. Sources say more details will be announced later this week.
