Washington, D.C. – The American Forest & Paper Association (AF&PA) released the November 2019 Boxboard Monthly report on December 17.

Total Boxboard production in November decreased two percent compared to November 2018. It was down one percent when compared to the same 11 months of 2018. The boxboard operating rate was 93.0 percent, down 0.7 points from November 2018.

• Solid Bleached Boxboard production in November decreased two percent compared to November 2018. It was down 0.5 percent when compared to the same 11 months of 2018.
• Recycled Boxboard production in November decreased three percent compared to November 2018. It was down one percent when compared to the same 11 months of 2018.
• Unbleached Kraft & Gypsum production in November decreased two percent compared to November 2018. It was essentially flat (-0.2%) when compared to the same 11 months of 2018.
