Deluxe President and CEO Barry McCarthy to be a Featured Speaker at Salesforce’s Dreamforce Conference in San Francisco

McCarthy to take the stage with financial expert Sallie Krawcheck and former NBA player Baron Davis to discuss the future of financial services and highlight the Deluxe transformation

Shoreview, Minn. – Deluxe Corporation, a Trusted Business Technology™ company, announced today that President and CEO Barry McCarthy will participate in a keynote panel at Saleforce’s largest conference, Dreamforce, which draws more than 175,000 attendees annually. The panel discussion, Future of Financial Services: Driving Change in the Digital Economy, will also feature former two-time NBA All-Star Baron Davis, founder and CEO of Business Inside the Game, and financial expert Sallie Krawcheck, CEO and co-founder of Ellevest. The panel will take place at the Moscone Center in San Francisco on November 20 at 11:15 am PST.

The panel, led by Andrew Nusca of FORTUNE, will dive into disruptive technologies that could transform customer relationships throughout the financial services industry and seek to answer the question: “How will the financial service experience of the future look?” McCarthy will share how companies like Deluxe Corporation are disrupting its own business and operating models to exceed customers’ growing expectations for trust, transparency, convenience and ubiquity.

“The global financial landscape is constantly changing, and Deluxe is uniquely positioned to drive change with our 5 million small business and 4,600 financial institution customers, including 180 of the top 200 financial institutions,” McCarthy said. “Most don’t know about the incredible reach of the New Deluxe. We are pleased to share this story, and showcase our historic transformation on stage with Sallie and Baron, and in our showroom in the Dreamforce ‘Campground’.

“Our transformation from a traditional check manufacturer to a leader in business technology solutions for payments, cloud, promotional products and of course, checks is accelerating. Our participation is a clear statement about our transformation and the strategic relationship between Deluxe and Salesforce,” McCarthy continued.

Earlier this year, Deluxe and Salesforce embarked on a deeper strategic partnership, with Deluxe consolidating its customer service, direct and indirect sales, digital commerce, analytics and marketing systems onto a single Salesforce CRM platform. In addition, the two companies announced they would collaborate to provide mutual small business customers with innovative product solutions to leverage both firms reach.

The Deluxe executive leadership team members will be speaking at a number of breakout sessions at Dreamforce and Deluxe will also have a booth in the Dreamforce Campground (Booth #1300) featuring products and services for both financial institutions and small businesses.
