Theme of ‘Red Passion for Printing’ inspires printers from multiple sectors across Italy
Lier, Belgium – Xeikon Café 2019 has once again stirred considerable excitement in its latest applications and innovations – this time at its latest event in Milan. Taking place mid-October in the spectacular setting of the Villa Campari in Sesto San Giovanni, Xeikon’s creatively crafted conference programme proved a huge attraction for Italian printers countrywide. Senior representatives from over eighteen companies enjoyed the experience and location of the Campari Museum – one of the most iconic and famous Italian brands.
Domenico Beraldi, Sales Manager Graphic Arts Italy Xeikon says, “We saw an amazing reaction to our Xeikon Café in Milan. There was real excitement and interest in our latest digital innovations. It was a pleasure to bring together customers, partners, prospects, technical experts and journalists from the Italian markets. Xeikon is dedicated to sharing its knowledge and expertise of digital production. For the 2019 series of the Café, Xeikon planned well ahead to make sure the programme offered challenging insights, intellectual entertainment and food for thought for all those involved. Our Xeikon Café conferences are designed to inspire and educate.”
A key part of the agenda for Milan was a round table event where a panel of experienced printers, moderated by Enrico Barboglio, CEO of Stratego Group, discussed Xeikon’s forward thinking technology and innovation and how it has led their companies towards greater competitiveness and new markets. On the panel were Ivan Marchi, General Manager of Leaderform, Marco Giovanelli, CEO of The Factory, Silvia Argalia, Sales and Marketing Director of AGE (Argalia Editore), Francesco Proia, Corporate Strategy Director Incentive Promomedia and Simone Giongrandi, Digital Printing Production Manager at Incentive Promomedia. Discussions addressed how, with Xeikon as a partner, printers are able to face the challenges of on-demand printing, small & medium run lengths, flexible formats and the need for ultimate quality – all to meet the communication needs of brandowners looking for added value, customisation and a fast turnaround to market. Another item on the agenda was keynote speaker, Matteo Bonetti from the communication agency Artefice Group addressing the issue of creative communication - ‘finding new ways’ - to satisfy the fast moving and evolving changes in consumer behaviour that are impacting on brand owners worldwide.
Beraldi concludes, "Xeikon Café on Tour is an initiative that brings new and exciting applications close to the printers. It is a compact format with the ambition to inform on the most relevant issues for our industry. Our speakers shared their views on trends, market situations and opportunities and we received great feedback from all our guests and partners. The enthusiasm was evident from the many questions and the interaction with our product experts and advisors. The 2019 event in Milan was a great success for our customers and all those attending. Xeikon is always ready to engage and advise.”
