Press release from the issuing company
The new Flowbox, manufactured exclusively by Kendu In-Store Visual Solutions for the USA in Doral FL, features an improved design offering retailers new product features and exciting display options. Now available for purchase, Flowbox’s new features include integrated product displays, interactive customer experiences, multiple display synchronization and bespoke sizes.
“The in-store experience must be engaging and immersive, encouraging the customer to stay via the purposeful integration of appropriate technology and an on-brand, attractive aesthetic. The new Flowbox empowers retailers to create that sought-after memorable store experience thanks to its new exciting product features,” states Managing Director US/LATAM, David Lopez
Customer interaction with products can be increased in-store with Flowbox. Thanks to the improved design, products can be easily integrated and showcased within the dynamic display with no risk of damaging the LED plates. Kendu’s range of exclusive display accessories such as shelves, hangers and pegs help to promote product play. Flowbox can also be installed into existing slot-walling systems for a dynamic backdrop that’s integrated into the store design.
Retailers can choose from endless creative options with Flowbox from subtle tonal variations to continuous color changes and even surprising animations. Powered by Intel technology, Flowbox now features interactive experiences allowing customers to engage with the both the dynamic display and the integrated product. In-store entertainment, with real-time sound and light effects in the form of animated games or product demos, is easily achieved with Flowbox.
Store windows are key to enticing shoppers in-store and the improved Flowbox with its ability to be synchronized across multiple units means that animations can play out across different dynamic displays to create a unique large-format installation. Animated sequences are the perfect way to tell brand stories, product features or deliver key messages in a surprising, sensory way for shoppers.
The flexibility of the redesigned Flowbox also means it is now available in bespoke sizes in vertical or horizontal formats. The customized sizes, manufactured in Kendu’s 50,000 sq. ft factory in Doral FL, are created using multiples of the new LED plates to ensure the perfect fit for in-store spaces including not only store windows but columns, totems and back of the till.
“Kendu prides itself on being pioneers in the retail industry. When we launched Flowbox in 2017 it was an innovative product, but the 2019 redesign represents a new dynamic display that eliminates traditional pain points for in-store solutions while also offering retailers up to 80% less energy consumption than a LED screen. From the functional three step set-up to the integration of products and the ability to customize interactive experiences, the new and improved Flowbox is the future of in-store storytelling,” continues Lopez.
