DIEDORF, Germany—Rosas Maschinenbau, a family-owned German manufacturer of highly specialized machines, has introduced its latest innovation in RFID inspection technology with an integrated code verifier on its Leopard 300. This new feature transforms the proven tabletop system into a complete RFID quality-control platform.
Designed to meet the growing demand for greater accuracy, traceability and production efficiency, the Leopard 300 RFID combines ISO/IEC 15415 code verification with RFID encoding at speeds of up to 80,000 tags per hour. The system reads and grades printed codes while ensuring accurate 1:1 data transfer to corresponding RFID tags, providing converters with comprehensive inspection and verification throughout the production process.
The all-in-one solution enables converters to inspect both the optical quality and functionality of RFID tags, inspect labels with embedded RFID inlays, encode RFID data linked to matching QR codes or barcodes, process and verify variable data, and automatically identify and remove defective tags or labels through re-inspection. By combining these capabilities into a single platform, the Leopard 300 RFID helps improve production efficiency, reduce waste and enhance quality assurance.
Visitors to Booth 6133 at Loupe Americas, taking place from 15–17 September in Chicago, USA, will see live demonstrations of the new code verification RFID technology on the Leopard 300, equipped with the Erhardt+Leimer SMARTSCAN 200% inspection system and CISC RAIN Xplorer RFID testing technology.
Also demonstrated will be the Viper 750 rewinder, featuring Rosas Maschinenbau's Infinity 4K inspection system. First introduced at Labelexpo Europe 2025, the Viper 750 combines advanced inspection and finishing capabilities in a robust platform designed to maximise productivity and quality assurance. Operating at web speeds of up to 750 m/min, the system delivers high-performance inspection and rewinding for demanding label and packaging production environments.
Sharing Booth 6133 with Rosas Maschinenbau, Graph-Tech USA (GTUS) will demonstrate its LabelRunner digital imprinting system for labels and booklets, based on the Rosas Maschinenbau Gazelle 2 platform and integrated with the GTUS eZ-Colorjet industrial inkjet printer. Combining Rosas' proven winding technology with advanced piezo drop-on-demand (DOD) printing, the LabelRunner offers an affordable solution for producing high-quality imprinted labels with reliable, high-speed performance.
Maurice Rosas, Head of Production at Rosas Maschinenbau, said: "Loupe Americas is an excellent opportunity to connect with label and packaging converters and showcase the new code verifier and our latest developments for the Leopard 300 RFID platform.
"We work closely with our customers to identify the right technologies and services to help them maintain their competitive advantage, and we welcome customised projects involving technical substrates, unique workflows and integrated production processes. For Rosas Maschinenbau, smart engineering means looking at the customer's complete production process rather than offering a standard machine for every application."
