DALLAS, April 2 -- Kinko's, Inc., a leading provider of document solutions and business services, has announced the appointment of Gary Golden as controller. In this role, Mr. Golden is responsible for Kinko's accounting and financial functions, including external financial and internal management reporting, financial accounting systems and accounts payable and payroll. "Gary is a welcome addition to Kinko's. He brings with him extensive knowledge of financial and company operations sectors," said Gary Kusin, Kinko's president and CEO. "His broad experience with retail organizations will make him a valuable member of the Kinko's team." With more than 25 years of financial and tax experience, Mr. Golden was most recently the senior vice president and corporate controller for Blockbuster, Inc., the global leader in home entertainment rentals. Prior to working with Blockbuster, he was the director of operations for Premier Designs, Inc., a privately owned costume jewelry retailer. Mr. Golden also held accounting positions of increasing responsibility at Fuqua Industries and its joint venture Qualex, Inc. He began his career as a financial auditor with Arthur Andersen. Mr. Golden is a certified public accountant and holds a bachelor's of science degree in commerce and business administration with a major in accounting from the University of Alabama.
