Zenographics Announces OEM Partnership with Oki Data of Japan

IRVINE, Calif.--April 3, 2002--Zenographics, Inc. announced today an agreement with Oki Data Corporation of Japan to license Zenographics' SuperPrint and Zj imaging and driver technologies for use with an as-yet announced Oki Data high-performance digital LED printer for the office market. Under the agreement, Zenographics will provide Oki Data with its SuperPrint host-based raster image processor and driver technology, together with its Zj PC-based compression technology, controller-based decompression technology and engine control/page management firmware.
Following the recent introduction by major printer manufacturers of laser printers incorporating SuperPrint and Zj, this Oki-Zenographics agreement signifies the recognition from yet another leading printer manufacturer that Zenographics provides superior raster-based technology offering high performance at a low cost.
