Elixir Technologies Hosts Online User Group Meetings

Press release from the issuing company

VENTURA, CA – September 29, 2008 – Elixir Technologies Corporation, a leading developer of software for creating and managing high-value documents of all types, today announced the debut of online user group meetings for their Opus and DesignPro Tools customers. Opus is Elixir's development application for transpromo and other variable data publishing and DesignPro Tools is the industry de facto standard for Xerox and AFP print resource editing.

The meetings drew attendance across a wide range of industries including insurance, healthcare, finance, service bureaus, manufacturing, education, and federal, state and city government agencies. The venue for the meetings included training topics requested by the users in advance with question and answer periods following each topic. All the training topics were recorded previous to the user group meeting and are now available free-of-charge to all registered Elixir users. This includes any registered user who has purchased their Elixir software from an Elixir partner including Xerox, InfoPrint, Levi Ray & Shoup,
Inc., Help Print Solutions and others.

Elixir's Anne Marie Kyle, responsible for the company's Customer Care Programs commented, "We've had extremely large attendance at the first two meetings and scores of suggestions for additional topics. One of the most exciting developments is that our customers will be making presentations at future meetings showing tips and tricks that they've developed. I'm expecting Elixir will learn just as much as the audience!"

Customers from six countries attended the first meetings even though it was quite late for attendees in Europe. Anne Marie continued, "We had already planned to schedule user group meetings at appropriate times for our customers in Europe, Asia Pacific and other regions and were pleasantly surprised when so many attended. We believe these meetings will serve many Elixir users who have purchased software from Rasterpunkt, a long-time Elixir partner located in Germany.

Elixir plans to host online user group meetings at a minimum of once per quarter. For more information contact Kathleen Dell, Elixir Customer Care either by email: [email protected] or via phone: +1.805.648.9127.
