Bondoufle, France – Label press manufacturer Codimag (stand 11C10) unveils productivity, performance and software integration advances for its VIVA Aniflo printing press programme, with live demonstrations and opportunities for private trials.
Codimag’s Aniflo technology, using waterless offset plates and inks supplied by an anilox roll inking system, combines outstianding quality with short setup times, minimum manual input, an extended colur gamut, and a fully digital prepress workflow. It is providing a competitive solution for wine labels as well as food, cosmetics, pharmaceutical and household chemical labels in short and medium production runs.
Codimag offers three Aniflo presses: the VIVA 340 Evolution press is a stand-alone option suitable for printers with offline finishing capabilities. The VIVA 340 and VIVA 420 presses offer the same features and capabilities in 340mm and 420mm widths and are configured with inline finishing options that can include hot-foil, flatbed foil, fluted foil, photopolymer embossing, flexo varnishing, lamination, screen printing and die-cutting.
At the show, Codimag unveils its enhanced 420mm-wide Viva 420 Aniflo press with advances in productivity. Features include a new web motion system and maximum speeds of 85m/min, with inline finishing. There will be live demos throughout each show day in several languages.
Codimag renews its Aniflolive experience at the show, inviting customers to print their own job immediately on the press and experience the simplicity, speed and quality of the complete Aniflo process – from the PDF file, through the prepress workflow to extended gamut label printing - at first hand.
An integrated digital workflow between the pre press and the press will also be revealed. This Industry 4.0 development, provides a data connection between ERP and management information software, the prepress software and the press, digitalizing the process and further reducing manual input.
