San Jose, Calif. – BR Printers, a digital print and marketing solutions services company, today announced print industry veteran, Bob Durgy, has joined the management team as Sr. Vice President of Business Development. The addition of Durgy to the BR executive team is instrumental in the growth plans set forth for BR and the ongoing efforts to extend BR’s trusted services to customers coast to coast.
Bob recently led sales growth as Vice President of Sales and Marketing for the book printer Thomson Shore. He was previously the Head of Sales and Marketing for the book printer Edwards Brothers Malloy. Bob joined the book industry in 2007. Prior to working with publishers in book printing, Bob was a Sales leader in the Internet and Web Services sector. His IT background was instrumental in leading EBM’s rapid growth in Digital/POD printing from $3 million in 2007 to $22 million in 2016.
“Bob is an excellent addition to the BR team and brings with him unparalleled customer service and sales leadership skills. Bob comes to BR poised to leverage what customers have come to expect of BR – producing high quality digital print with fast turnarounds,” said Adam DeMaestri, CEO and President. “Bob’s leadership and trusted industry reputation are huge assets to BR as we continue on the path of growth in 2019 and beyond.”
“Coming from high growth print companies I was impressed with BR, Adam’s vision, the leadership team, the investment power, trusted customer relationships, and the quality products BR has to offer. BR is positioned to change the way the industry does print, providing large format, full mailing, direct marketing, data, promo and fulfillment services with a Silicon Valley technology focus,” said Durgy. “The innovation, management talent and strategic direction that BR has acquired is second to none. The company is going beyond print into marketing solutions, data and technology which is particularly interesting to me. The print world is changing and companies need to change with it. BR has traditional print DNA with Silicon Valley roots.”
