Push Solutions Doubles Up on Powerful Wide Format Innovations from Fujifilm

Press release from the issuing company

Hanover Park, Ill. – Push Solutions, a New Berlin, Wisconsin-based print service provider doubles its wide format LED-UV printing power with Fujifilm’s Acuity F and Acuity LED 1600 II presses.

At its core, Push Solutions is a kit-packing house, specializing in national distribution for retail support, with a heavy focus on print management, distribution and supply chain.

“We are extremely happy with our recent acquisition of the Acuity F,” says Brad Flagge, president, Push Solutions. “We chose the Acuity F because of the productivity; the double-bed capacity is what we needed. The quality is unbelievable; it’s truly superior to other presses in this segment.”

Adds Nick Bova, vice president, Push Solutions, “To go a step further, the versatility of the output is key. We are printing on a variety of items we never thought possible, including shelving, drains and stainless steel. It’s opening new doors for us, while maintaining an element of quality and accuracy on those pieces that are defining strong selling features for us. The Acuity F has performed very well on every substrate we’ve ever attempted, and we are now able to respond to our customer needs much faster; it’s exciting.”

The Acuity F is the most productive printer in the popular Acuity Series. It combines more than eight years of market leading image quality with leading edge engineering and ink technology to deliver a state-of-the-art platform capable of a wide range of print applications. With a maximum print speed of more than 1,600 square feet per hour, the Acuity F is built for production.

The Acuity F allows print professionals to select the right production speed and image quality to address a wide range of display applications. The addition of white ink further extends the application and media range to include clear and colored substrates. The Acuity F maintains all the advantages of the successful Acuity Platform, including near-photographic image quality, versatility and ease of use, but has been optimized for the efficient and high speed production of rigid media applications.

With the increase of new jobs, Flagge and his colleagues realized a cutting table was a necessity at Push Solutions, which led to the installation of its Kongsberg C24, distributed by Fujifilm.

“You can’t get into wide format printing without a cutting table,” says Flagge.

“With our cutting table we’re seeing anywhere from 60 to 80 percent savings by not outsourcing,” said Bova.

“Previously we had to get prototypes made with outside vendors, and now we can handle all prototyping internally,” adds Craig Inglish, business development manager, Push Solutions.

Push Solutions entered the LED-UV printing market with the Acuity LED 1600 II by Fujifilm.

“Our first LED-UV purchase was the Acuity LED 1600 II, it was a perfect step to gain valuable experience and use as a learning tool,” said Bova. “This machine always performs, and it has beautiful quality. We are turning jobs quicker because of its flexibility.”

The Fujifilm Acuity LED 1600 II is a large format hybrid printer designed to give exceptional print results in the most environmentally friendly way. Fujifilm technology breakthroughs in LED UV curing, ink chemistry, and printheads work in perfect harmony to give smooth, near-photographic results at an impressive print speed of 355 square feet per hour.

Print to roll for banners, window displays or backlit applications, and then seamlessly switch to directly print to rigid boards (including PET, acrylic and polycarbonate substrates) for high quality POP or sign applications.

“Fujifilm is a trusted partner, and I see our relationship continuing to grow,” concludes Flagge.
