Two-way communication ensures increased shipping efficiency with no more shipping bottlenecks or inadvertent errors

Through this integration, order and production information is seamlessly transferred from Pressero to Parcelcast, allowing shipping personnel to quickly prepare orders to be shipped, often in just a few seconds. Once an order is ready for shipping and all items as well as the job ticket and pick list have arrived in the Shipping Department, staff can reconcile the shipment with the associated paperwork to ensure error-free shipping. Parcelcast’s multicarrier shipping function connects with all major carriers as well as more than 25 LTL freight carriers, all in one system, making it easy to choose the most appropriate carrier, based on cost, customer preference and other criteria.

Once the order has been reconciled in Shipping, Parcelcast allows shipping personnel to then select the correct approved packaging from the packaging library, generate the shipping label and ship the order. Once the shipment has been processed, all relevant data, including tracking information is passed back to Pressero to close out the order, and an email notification is sent with a clickable tracking link to the customer to allow them to track their own orders. This enables companies to efficiently handle the larger number of small orders that most companies are processing today.
