Great Lakes Graphics Association Further Commits to Their Sustainability Mission by Becoming a Sustainable Green Printing Partnership (SGP) Resource Partner

Press release from the issuing company

Great Lakes Graphics Association joins a long list of leading organizations that support efforts to increase sustainability in the Midwest region.

Sayville, N.Y. – The Sustainable Green Printing Partnership (SGP), the leading authority in sustainable printing certifications for print manufacturers, has announced Great Lakes Graphics Association (GLGA) as its newest resource partner. The association joins a growing list of leading brands and organizations that support sustainable printing initiatives.

GLGA is heavily involved with the partnership between the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources and the printing industry in the Midwest. Through this effort, GLGA has been able to promote a greater interest in both SGP, as well as Green Tier, a program through the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources that supports efforts to improve the green bottom line in different companies across the state.

Joe Lyman, the President of GLGA, said, "Great Lakes Graphics Association is proud to partner with the Flexographic Technical Association (FTA), Specialty Graphics Imaging Association (SGIA), the Printing Industries of America, and now the Sustainable Green Printing Partnership. All of these organizations are working towards a better future and promote the greater sustainability in the printing industry."

GLGA intends to continue to encourage both GLGA members and prospects to utilize the different resources provided by the Sustainable Green Printing Partnership.
