Canon Solutions America Presents CAHME Award For Sustainability In Healthcare Education And Practice

Rush University and Rush University Medical Center Recognized for Sustainability Programs by The Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Management Education (CAHME)

Melville, N.Y. – Canon Solutions America, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Canon U.S.A., Inc., announces Rush University and Rush University Medical Center as the winner of this year's CAHME/Canon Solutions America Award for Sustainability in Healthcare Education and Practice. The 2019 CAHME Awards Ceremony, held March 3 in Chicago, Illinois recognized healthcare education and management programs that excel in key areas – showcasing best practices to help educate others and continually build upon initiatives that help advance the industry.

The accrediting body for graduate programs in healthcare management, the Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Management Education (CAHME) aims to serve the public interest by promoting, evaluating, and improving the quality of healthcare management education. CAHME is an interdisciplinary group of educational, professional, clinical, and other health sector organizations devoted to quality improvement of education for healthcare management and administration professionals. CAHME accreditation establishes the standard of measurement of graduate healthcare management education for the world community.

The Rush University and Rush University Medical Center program was recognized for its expansive view of sustainability that includes diversity, environmental impact, and community involvement. Located in Chicago, Illinois, Rush University prepares students to become leaders in healthcare through education, community service, research, and diversity initiatives.
