Reichhold: Price Increase on all Product Lines for Coatings Applications

Press release from the issuing company

RESEARCH TRIANGLE PARK, N.C.--Aug. 16, 2002--Reichhold, Inc. announced a general off-list price increase today on all liquid-based products sold into the North American coatings market. The increase is $.03/lb for all chemistries and is effective September 15, 2002, or as contracts allow. The purpose of this increase is to offset escalating costs for a number of key raw materials which have been steadily rising for the last several months. "While we are sensitive to the current economic situation, we simply cannot afford to continue absorbing these raw material increases without it having a significant impact on our business," says Fritz Gartner, vice president of sales for Global Coating and Performance Resins. Information on Reichhold's Global Coating and Performance Resins product lines, including product bulletins and MSDS, can be found on-line at www.reichhold.com. For product inquiries, call (800) 431-1920 or e-mail [email protected].
